7-day tour

DAY 1:

Arrival in Fes.

  • Pick up at the airport.
  • Depending on the arrival time, visit to Bab Bou Jeloud and Medina Fez-El Bali.
  • Transfer to the accommodation.

DAY 2:

Fes – Meknes:

  • Breakfast at the accommodation and departure from Fes towards the archaeological site of Volubilis, an ancient Roman city considered a World Heritage Site since 1997.
  • After the visit, we will head to Meknes, where we will take a tour of the city accompanied by a local guide.
  • We will end the day at the accommodation that will have previously been agreed.

    DAY 3:

    Meknes – Chaouen (Blue City):

    • After breakfast at the accommodation, we will head to Chaouen. Along the way, we will make stops to observe the different landscapes.
    • Once we arrive in the Blue City, we can visit the Medina, which is walled and has 6 access gates. In the centre of it is the Outa el-Hammam square, from where we can access the Kasbah, built by Moulay Ismail in the late 17th century.
    • We will also find the Great Mosque of the city, built by Moulay Ali Ben Rachid in the 15th century. Its 18th-century minaret is characteristic for its octagonal shape.
    • In this city, ideal for photography enthusiasts, we will also find the characteristic Markets of the country where we can stroll, eat, and shop.
    • Finally, we can visit the Ras el Maa waterfall on the Kebir River, where the basins are located, and we can see women washing clothes.
    • To end the day, we will go to the accommodation to rest.

    DAY 4:

    Chaouen – Tetouan – Tangier:

    • After breakfast, we will begin the day by heading towards Tetouan for a guided visit.
    • This city was the capital of the so-called Spanish Protectorate in North Africa between 1913 and 1956, and we may still encounter people who speak perfect Spanish.
    • We can visit the historic Medina full of scents and colours, food and fabrics. We will also discover the Spanish Quarter, the Jewish Quarter, and the Tanners’ Quarter, where sheep and lamb skin are worked with natural dyes. Once the visit is finished, we will head to Tangier towards the accommodation.

    DAY 5:

    Visit to Tangier:

    • We will have breakfast and then head out to visit the city. We will stroll through the Medina and the Tangier Market, full of food and clothing stores.
    • Next, we will visit the Kasbah and its Museum and we can climb its walls to have an aerial view of the Maritime Zone.
    • Finally, we will go to visit Cape Spartel and the Caves of Hercules, where we can observe magnificent views of the Strait of Gibraltar.
    • Once the visit is over, we will return to the accommodation.

    DAY 6:

    Tangier – Asilah – Rabat:

    • We will start the day by heading to Asilah, where we will wander through its white streets while walking.
    • We will see the Artisan Markets, the Medina where we will find the Borj Al-Kamra defence tower and the Great Mosque, the Wall, and the M.
    • Then we will go to Rabat where we will stay.

    DAY 7:

    Rabat – Fes:

        • We will wake up early to visit Rabat, the last city of the tour.

        • Accompanied by a local guide, we will visit the most famous and emblematic places such as the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Medina and the Market, the Kasbah of the Oudaias, and the seafront promenade.

        • The last part of the trip will be the return journey to the initial city, Fes, where the tour ends with a transfer to the airport.

    *Included: airport transfers, private vehicle with driver and guide, accommodation with breakfast, and guided visits with explanations.

    *Not included: lunch and dinner, entrance fees to museums and other tourist sites that require payment.

    *You will have enough time during the midday break to have lunch wherever you like and rest for a while.
