Marrakech in 2 days
DAY 1:
- Airport pick-up and transfer to accommodation.
- Visit to Jemaa el Fna Square, the most famous and visited place in Marrakech.
- It is a meeting point for merchants, restaurateurs, street performers, and more. Medina markets.
- From the square, we will enter the Medina and stroll through the souks inside, full of colors, spices, clothing, and beauty products.
- We will take a break for lunch, rest, and free time.
- Next, we will visit the Koutoubia Mosque, considered the most important in the city.
- Built in the 12th century, it has a minaret that stands out to almost 70 meters in height. Return to the accommodation.
DAY 2:
- Pickup at the accommodation. Visit to the Ben Youssef Medersa, the largest Muslim school of higher education in Morocco.
- Its construction was completed in 1565 and has 130 cells where up to 900 students could be accommodated. We will explore the Saadian Tombs and their two mausoleums, where its creator, Sultan Ahmad al-Mansour, and his relatives are buried.
- Next, we will go to the Bahia Palace, one of the most important architectural works built in the late 19th century.
- Its gardens have an area of 8,000 square meters, and the palace has a total of 160 rooms with external views. We will take a break for lunch, rest, and free time.
- We will continue the visit to the Majorelle Gardens, designed in 1924 by the painter Jaques Majorelle. They have more than 9,000 square meters, surrounded by walls and exotic plants and trees full of colours.
- Finally, we will stroll through the palm grove located on the outskirts of the city, with more than 100,000 palm trees and considered the largest in the world for its extension of 13,000 hectares.
- There are several visit options for all tastes: horse-drawn carriage, quad bike, camel, or walking.
- After sunset, we will return to the accommodation and accompany you to the airport.
